Jeremy Olander Celebrates Tenth Release on His Highly Rated Vivrant Label with Three-Tracker Gattaca EP

Following up on his Bedrock debut alongside Knee Deep In Sound mainstay Cristoph, Jeremy returns to his Vivrant home for a special occasion

One electronic artist that has truly experienced a career renaissance is Jeremy Olander. The OG Pryda cohort took a big leap of faith in early 2014 when deciding to go out on this own and start his own label. In retrospect, he’s probably happy he did.

Since the label’s first release in December of 2015, Vivrant has seen seven out of its nine EPs make number 1 on Beatport, release remixes and original work from Henry Saiz, Tim Engelhardt, Finnebassen, Khen and be supported by a who’s who of dance music’s finest like Sasha, Pete Tong and John Digweed. The launch of the label has also brought him a career-first residency at esteemed Los Angeles nightclub Sound, opened the door fort multiple other sold out label showcases across the globe and got him an invitation to play alongside Sasha & John Digweed, Art Department and Dubfire at Ultra’s Resistance night at Privilege in Ibiza.

With an ever -growing demand from other esteemed outlets, Jeremy’s had several chart-topping dispatches on some of the most coveted labels on the scene. Examples range from Spanish power-house Suara, Canadian microCastle, big wig Atlantic, John Digweed’s Bedrock and soon also the revered Anjunadeep.

His Suara-signed track ‘Panorama’, part of the ‘Talespin’ EP, is one of the label’s best selling records and recently clocked in an impressive 365 straight days on the Beatport Top 100 Progressive chart. His remix for Sailor & I on Atlantic/Big Beat has surpassed 1.3 million streams on Spotify, topped Beatport and became the best-selling remix despite heavy but friendly competition from Doctor Dru, Diynamic’s NTFO and Kidnap Kid.

To commemorate the tenth release milestone on Vivrant, Jeremy dug deep his in treasure chest of unreleased gems to curate a special three-track offering worthy of the occasion. “I’ve made a conscious effort of creating a balance between the stuff I play the most, what I think our fans want and what I think will bring something new to what’s already out there. I think this EP is the strongest we put out so far.”

Already in heavy rotation by friends Yotto, Tim Engelhardt, Khen, Eelke Kleijn, Guy Mantzur, Henry Saiz, Guy J and Hernan Cattaneo, the tracks on the ‘Gattaca’ EP succinctly summarise the sound Jeremy’s label has championed since its inception and gives a telltale sign of where it’s going; melancholic, driving and deep.
