Two established producers and recent Brooklyn transplants, John Barera (Dolly Records, Jack Dept.) and Ike Release (MOS, Mister Saturday Night), strike a fresh partnership yielding this potent EP of upfront and dancefloor-ready jams on EPISODES!
Launched in 2012, EPISODES has served primarily as Ike Release ’s outlet for his own productions and for work by Chicago-based associates like Hakim Murphy , Spirit Of The Black 808 , and G Marcell . For the now Brooklyn-based label’s eighth edition, John Barera joins the fold as the only producer not to be from Chicago and the first Brooklyn producer to appear on the label!
EPISODES08 arrives as a limited edition, hand-stamped white label with a full color half page insert in the EPISODES label sleeve. Limited black label edition available exclusively through Bandcamp.
