Sol Selectas welcomes multi-talented musician and producer Steffen aka Monolink to the family, with his single ‘Burning Sun’. This songs tells the story of himself being reborn, becoming human again while in a lucid dream state. With his roots in the world of acoustic music, Monolink expertly pairs traditional song writing with a pulsating electronic groove, in a narrative that combines his superb vocals, with cosmic guitars, piano, and powerful synths.
Together with the original we have enlisted 3 remixes. DAVI takes the track further into an oasis of desert tech, teasing and dubbing the vocals over a relentless tribal beat. Be Svendsen adds a playful shuffle and injects some acid 303 bits, allowing the musical elements to come forward, enveloping the listener in the gorgeous vocals. And lastly, Just Emma, takes us on a deep slow minimal trip, expanding the original to 10 minutes of downtempo bliss. The artwork by Helia Jamali takes you one a visual journey through time and space, into the land of the ‘Burning Sun’.
