We are stoked to send you the 15th export from our little underground imprint Chromoza; Time. The first release from Brighton based producer and Disco Tech Sessions resident Rob Savage, “Time” is pure big room house with an influence of funkiness from the early 00’s, brought up to date with a badass bassline and a moreish vocal. Rob has previously released with Westway Records, the label owned by DJ Mag’s editor Carl Loben and Dub Pistol’s frontman Barry Ashworth and Simma Black have picked up the Tom Gianelli remix of Rob’s Release Me on Good For You Recordings.

The Original is accompanied by two remixes; the first from girl about town Carly Foxx (Danse Club Records/Stealth Music) who delivers a slice of crisp deepness, a hypnotic and dreamy remix for any sunrise or sunset session. Carly is smashing the festival circuit this summer with bookings at Boardmasters and Sunscape, she plays all across London from Shoreditch House, to Egg to The Box and is a frequent guest at the Berlin Berlin events across Europe, while having curating mixtapes for AQ/AQ  and DJIng for a number of luxury designer in-store events.

The second mix is a total reinvention from label founder Justin Ballard. True to form he finds the darkest elements of the original and builds them into a twisted tech house banger with touches of the orchestral. This remix is nothing short of epic, but still retains that tough talking, fierce edge for which he is becoming known for. Justin has enjoyed recent success with Celador hitting #34 in the Traxsource Tech House chart, playing alongside D Ramirez & Taylor (Abode) at Chromoza’s 3rd Birthday with Zombie Soundsystem, while his Deep Nights EP is due for release on Krafted this summer.
