Following the release of their acclaimed ‘Music Off EP in 2017, Badin Brothers return to HOUSEKEEPING RECORDS with ‘Caravan’ EP, featuring Octopus Kid and a scintillating remix from Luca M.

‘Caravan’ is a deep, soulful and hypnotic tribal cut complete with shimmering bass line and energetic percussion deployed alongside the haunting vocals of Argentine singer and guitarist, Octopus Kid. A signature track for Badin Brothers, ‘Caravan’ is set to be another celebrated release for the duo.

The Badin Brothers then enlist the remix skills of leading tech-house producer Luca M, who delivers a darker, driving rework of ‘Caravan’, chopping up and layering Octopus Kid’s vocal, building to an all-out peak time floor-filler.

‘Katonda’ rounds off the EP perfectly, an uplifting track with nods to late 80s acid house whilst still displaying the Badin Brother’s trademark tribal beats.

The ‘Caravan’ EP showcases the distinctive sound that has made HOUSEKEEPING’s imprint and their spectacular London events so revered, winning the collective fans around the world and securing a weekly residency at the prestigious Black Coffee Saturdays at Hï Ibiza for Summer 2018.

Badin Brothers are the Paris born, London based production duo of Scott and Olivier Badin. The duo is renowned for their ability to produce rich and soulful music that blends styles with strong percussion elements and Latin American influences. This is also displayed in their exciting, energetic DJ sets which saw them make their Ibiza debut in 2014. Since then, the Badin Brothers have played across the world. Their 2017 ‘Music Off’ EP received strong support from a variety of top selectors including Dennis Ferrer, Richie Hawtin, Richy Ahmed, Claude VonStroke, Steve Lawler, and Nic Fanciulli.

Octopus Kid is a Brooklyn-born music project led by Argentine singer, guitarist and producer Paco Naveira whose music originally breeds on Spanish folk, British rock and American blues traditions.

Release Date: May 18th, 2018.
