Prospect Records run by Hollen is a techno label that has featured tracks and remixes from many great artists such as Filterheadz, DJ Boris, D-Unity, The YellowHeads, Metodi Hristov, Spektre, Alberto Ruiz and many more.

The latest Prospect Records release features original music from Hollen himself who has also contributed music to a great number of other highly respected imprints including the likes of OFF Recordings, Set About, Great Stuff, Bitten, Terminal M, 100% Pure, Unrilis and Loose Records.

Based in Italy, Hollen is arguably one of the country’s most prolific artists known for having an up-tempo party style with strong bass hooks and melody rich synths. Whether its dark and driving techno, melodic tech house, or chunky tribal beats, Hollen always delivers, and this cut of peak time techno packed with ominous atmosphere is no exception.

Teaming up with Hollen for this release is fellow Italian artist Frankyeffe, who is established in his own right for being a solo producer boasting music signed to Odd Recordings, AnalyticTrail, ELEVATE, Tronic, and Octopus. Along with Hollen he has previously collaborated with the likes of Enrico Sangiuliano, Mauro Picotto, Loco & Jam plus others, and is also a popular DJ booking playing many of Europe best techno clubs.

Alongside the single original track is a remix from man of the moment Rudosa, who can do no wrong with his driving take on the modern techno sound, and has recently racked up releases on Intec, Second State, Suara, Phobiq, Respekt, and Misfit Music.

Track one on the release is the original mix of ‘Double Impact’ which has an acid-tinged lead synth that grows with building modulation, and is soon joined by a medley of other textures. With looming pads and a twisted vocal, the main break builds the atmosphere before the heavy percussion comes back in to take control and drive this hard hitting track home.

Second is the Rudosa remix and with a mighty kick drum this harder and more aggressive version starts as it means to continue. Twisting one of the synth sounds to add even more intensity, this remix focuses on the originals core elements and brings out the acid in the lead sound, which really compliments the extra ferocity added by Rudosa.
