Kevin De Vries and Weska are two of the hottest newcomers around. Berlin producer Kevin De Vries has emerged as a serious one to watch since his track ‘Eternity’ appeared on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode label in 2016. Tale Of Us have also recognised his talent, paying De Vries the compliment of featuring his track ‘Path To Immortality'” on their Fabric 97 CD this year. Simultaneously, Toronto-born, Berlin-based Weska has been carving a strong identity for himself in the techno circuit. Having caught the attention of Adam Beyer and Eric Prydz, who have both been championing his tracks, he’s continued to turn heads at venues like Creamfields and Hi! Ibiza.
The ‘Meraki’ EP brings significantly higher levels of impulsive energy without ever losing sight of the harmonies. The EP features two originals from Kevin, then a collab between Kevin and Weska dubbed ‘Sonorous’. This track delivers serious power, and is another successful result of both artists’s studio time together.
