EI8HT Records is the brand-new collaboration between longtime friends and DJ partners, Eats Everything and Andres Campo. Their aim? To focus on forward thinking techno that transcends through soulful and emotive electronic music, to high energy groove-laden club tracks. They want fans to experience their imagination and creativity with a string of releases derived from their undeniable love of electronic music.

LA-based Brad Nelson marries his Chicagoan roots with his love for techno as RISC who’s now making his debut this June.

‘94 East’ with bouncy drums and wonky sonics. The introduction of male vocal cuts and extra layers of percussive energy ensures this is one peak-timer that will slay the dance floor all summer long. ‘Detroit Blues’ is a deeper cut and personal favourite of label head Eats Everything. Growing organically, the keys, jazzy hats and rides create quite a funky journey.

‘Omni Ledge’ has a distinctive 90s edge. Loopy and relentless, it powers from the first bar like a bull in a china shop, hypnotising all that come to near! Finally, ‘Box Park’ rounds off a scintillating EP. It’s tribal percussion leads the way as the energy builds throughout, whilst lazer-like sonics and crisp, snappy hats drive the track forward. Another relentless addition to RISC’s remarkable canon of work.

Release date: June 28th, 2019.
