Winter might be in full swing, but that doesn’t mean one can’t still be swept into the clouds. AllDay I Dream has returned with its annual Winter Sampler, a 13-piece compilation meant to
embrace the winter sun. Label boss Lee Burridge has brought an array of new and old label
favorites to the table for the 2019 iteration, including Rowee, Newman, Facundo Mohrr,
Hermanez, and many more.
One special contributor is Simon Vuarambon, who’s quickly been rising out of the Geneva
scene for his ethereal take on melodic, deep sounds. His track, ‘Alcyon’, is an exploratory
piece, taking listeners on an emotive journey through heady basslines, ethereal melodies that
flutter around in opportune places, and hints of lush percussion. Per Simon’s usual MO, the
track is tightly mixed and balanced, and built to bring energy to the dance floor. It’s a perfect
listen to drift smoothly into a spring awakening.
