Our starving Romanian returns to the fold with a follow up to the excellent ‘Agents of Time’ release way back in 2017. Bigger, bolder and full of swagger, this EP is chock full of emotion, e-moments and utter joy.
Coming off the back of a huge remix for South American label, Electronic Groove plus recent tracks for Broque, Plattenbank and Tuilpa, Ucleden is in something of a sweet spot. ‘Antenatal Depression’, despite its ominous title, is an lively percussive workout with Middle Eastern vocals and a devilishly eargastic hook. On remix duties Jaap Ligthart solidifies his position as a quality producer by toughening the groove slightly, focusing on the vocal, while Irish whizz, Silinder adds his trademark pixie dust rendering an emotive masterpiece.
