Top 5 sets of MMW 2016

There are many sets during the week that we loved and enjoyed. Here’s our top 5.

#1 Red Axes at Get Lost

Changing their location to Little River Studios, the Crosstown Rebels crew threw a massive party with an over the top lineup. There were great sets we could mention, but we have to salute the guys from Red Axes, who delivered a mind blowing session full of dark melodies, hypnotizing drums, and dreamy sounds. Without doubts our #1 spot.

#2 Satori at Do Not Sit by The Ocean

This was probably the best-curated event during the Miami Music Week. The progression and evolution was seamless, crafting a vibe like no other. We have to give props to Satori, who killed it with a journey full of mystical sounds and baselines.

#3 Phillip & Holmar closing set at Ship of Fools

A fun, bouncy, and emotional set to close Listed’s iconic Ship of Fools. The balance of styles between Philipp (M.A.N.D.Y.) and Holmar (Thugfucker) blended perfectly, as we cruised through the down the Intracoastal. One of our favorite B2B’s of the week!

#4 Mind Against & DJ Tennis at the Electric Pickle

After a few minutes of x-mas madness, complete Santa greeting us at the door, we finally made it to the Bolero Room. Here, the guys took the time to slowly build their set and create the proper musical evolution that grew into a one-of-kind night full of mystery and intense energy.

#5 Bedouin at Do Not Sit by The Ocean

Our final spot goes back to the decks of Do Not Sit, where the boys from Bedouin dazzled us with an eclectic session as the sun came down.
