After his latest releases on imprints such as My Favourite Freaks and Toolfunk, March 2017 sees fran&co’s first EP on 12 year old German record label BluFin. The ‘Zaubergarten’ EP is featuring two massive originals by fran&co and three remixes.
The title track is a melodic tech house tune with great groove and catchy melody. ‘Zaubergarten’ is a homage to the eponymous dancefloor at Club A.R.M. in Kassel, one of Germany’s finest underground locations north from Frankfurt and home of the infamous DEJAVUE.click events.
The second track on this EP is called ‘Fender’. Dark synths and massive basslines ensure ‘hands up’ moments on the dancefloor, while a bass guitar riff acts as the pivotal element during the break.
Cocoon legend Toni Rios gave ‘Zaubergarten’ a fantastic techno remix treatment, whereas ‘Fender’ has received a more minimalistic rework by DISCASE.
