With an impressive roster of established artists including Kolombo, Larse, San Soda and German duo Tube & Berger, the label also champions new talent and has given a number of artists their first ever release.

Run by Maxim Lany, the labels new release has original tracks from Maxim himself who boasts previous releases on a number of scene leading labels including We Play House, Nite Grooves, King Street Sounds and Kittball along with John Digweed’s label Bedrock.

A regular collaborator with home town friend Jimmy Van M, but also a solo producer in his own right, Maxim is an accomplished DJ who regularly plays at many of Belgium’s leading club nights and events. He has also played exclusive parties for Mixmag and featured as part of the publications “The Lab” series, which is the Mixmag equivalent of Boiler Room.

Along with Maxim’s two originals, the release also features separate remixes from Sierra Sam and Red D.

Sammy Goossens aka Sierra Sam is a Belgian artist now based in Germany, who is respected for his varied production style. Having collaborated with artists such as KiNK, Suburban Knight and Bloody Mary, he has released on labels including Peacefrog, R&S and Tresor under a variety of different aliases. Many will recognise his Sierra Sam moniker from his recent solo releases on Holic Trax, Pets Recordings and Upon You Records.

Belgium based Bart Van Neste aka Red D is an artist many will recognise from his seminal releases on We Play House, but with a career that has lasted well over a decade, his music has also featured on scene leading labels such as Freerange, Rebirth and Defected, along with many others of a similar calibre.

Track one titled ‘Thunder’ has a moody atmosphere with textured pads that flow to create something of a cosmic soundscape. Deep and spooky, the tracks melodic structure builds with intensity and each subtle change lifts the energy. Simple but stunning, this slice of Deep Techno has wide spread appeal, and is the perfect DJ tool for mixing between genres.

Second on the EP is ‘Choose Vibes’ which has an extended intro that develops with the help of a saxophone, string pad and some gentle percussion. Hard not to draw a comparison to Laurent Garnier’s classic track “Man With A Red Face”, the track takes you on an epic journey. Master crafted, this is an individual piece of music in its own right, and once the bassline hits we guarantee it will have you hooked!

The third track on the release is the Sierra Sam remix of ‘Thunder’. Keeping the originals cosmic vibe, he toughens things up with a booming kick drum and thickened percussion. Adding his own prominent bassline for extra energy and to lead the track, he uses the synths to dramatic effect and creates an uplifting sense of drama. Dancefloor focused, his up tempo remix provides an alternative for those looking for something a little more peak time.

Finishing the release is the Red D rework of ‘Choose Vibes’ that focuses on a jacking groove and looped saxophone stab with a retro vibe and timeless sound. The addition of squelching acid, rising pads and a piano riff full of euphoria, the track has a strong Acid House influence. Full of nostalgia, the tracks light-hearted sound is perfect for bringing the summer heat to any DJ set.
