Orange WoodMachine is a new label created by two friends crazy about house and techno (but it’s the same, right?). Their only goal is to make people dance and smile in these modern temples called clubs. Just take some time to listen to this great selection, from disco-house to experimental to dub-techno. Because in the end, it’s all about music and friends.
Here’s the selection of tracks that inspired the first release…
1. Calibre – Over the top
“My favourite track in the latest album from Calibre, who has consistently been putting out quality music, be it drum and bass or techno.”
2. Paul St. Hilaire & Rhauder – Meanwhile
“This track embodies what we like in dub techno, and Sushitech always delivers these kinds of gems.”
3. Thor – Aliens Don’t Boogie
“This one has an incredible drive, while staying on the dubby side. It finds its place in many different kinds of sets, including a more techno one.”
4. Thomas Brinkmann – Loplop
“Beautiful hypnotic vibe on this classic from a producer who never disappoints.”
5. Mr. Tophat & Art Alfie – Dazed & Confused
“The way this track evolves and completely unleashes its full energy towards the end is fantastic”
6. Forest Drive West – Show Them
“Incredibly well produced, spooky release on the sub-label of Livity Sound”
7. Anthony Naples – At Ease
“Really elegant deep house from the great master Anthony Naples”
8. The Jacksons – Living Together (Dimitri From Paris Disco Re-Edit)
“If you don’t dance on this edit with a huge smile on your face you’re not only dead, you’ve never been alive.”
9. Unknown
“Fantastic release on Lumière La Nuit by a mysterious producer, after listening to it you feel both sadder and more alive – when music is at the limit of a mystical approach.”
10. Unknown Artist – Xaipao (Just John Transit Remix)
“Hot, wet and dark after party material – when it’s too late to be sane.”
