Lost On You capture your body and soul on the dancefloor and hearts and minds in the ethos; not only have they built up a reputation for solid electronic releases, but they donate 100% of profits to the alleviation of poverty and improvement of sanitary conditions in the poorest parts parts of the world.

Lost On You are the homegrown pioneers of techno and house with a charitable edge. Previous releases have seen a stellar cast of melodic house and techno mavericks including Several Definitions, Florian Kruse and Saccao, and their winning combination of quality music and philanthropic determination has proved a winner at DIY parties in Paris.

This April, Lost On You deliver two more very special cuts to fire up your dancefloor; The Epic Jaw Drop EP is the third release in the Lost On You benefit program, featuring Thessaloniki’s premier party starters Alexandros Djkevingr and Greg Ignatovich bringing the heat from one of Europe’s hottest nightlife destinations.

There’s a unique brand of stomping melodic house and techno that aficionados have come to expect from Lost On You, and The Epic Jaw Drop EP continues that trend. The title track, Epic Jaw Drop, pulls you into its cavernous dwellings where bats rap on the walls and smoke pours out of the cracks; here is the sound of a nuclear meltdown, a long-distance call, an epic party for an epic cause.

Bringing up the rear end of the EP is Rickandros & Mortyvich with a seven-minute bacchanal of acid claps, wavy sonic textures and a monstrous, uncompromising bassline that locks in the groove. You know when the beat cuts out, the vocals heighten and the lights suddenly illuminate a swirling mass of ecstatic revelers? This is Rickandros & Mortyvich, galactic in scope and humble in purpose.

By offering you the chance to swap a piece of music for invaluable aid to those in the most troubling of circumstances, Lost On You are changing the way we consume electronic music and the effect it can have on spaces far bigger than the dancefloor. Join the revolution.
