Hamburg based producer Vincent Beckmann will release his debut EP under the name of Han Duo on his self-run label enbeezee. The EP evolved on a trip to Rio de Janeiro, where he was introduced to old samba records. Vincent being a jazz-trained drummer tried to incorporate those Brazilian percussions into his music, which lead to ‘Phil In Rio’ right after the trip.
Upcoming releases will follow a similar route, where the A-Side will feature viby music and the B sides will border into leftfieldy experiments.
Enbeezee will be a label and event series. After doing several parties in Hamburg under another name, Han Duo now starts of new and will run events parallel to the label, which will be a heavily music focused representation of the label as well as featuring friends and bookings.
